"Good location just a few minutes walk from the centre. Access was via a phone call and then being provided with a code. Key card then in the room. Really clean. Was a single night stay and didn’t spend long in the room however can’t fault it for location and price. I was on top floor so also was relatively quiet. Didn’t hear the other residents. I also had my own bathroom which I don’t think all rooms have as I saw separate bathrooms on other floors. I would recommend for a short trip where...

"The Briarcroft Wayth Hotel is a small boutique hotel and great place to stay. Parking is easy to find, the sitting area is lovely. They provide a guest kitchen with refrigerator dishwasher sink, etc., as well as tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The rooms are nice, although some are still under renovation. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only wish was that the mattress had a soft mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Other than that it was a great stay!"

"Great B&B. Cosy room, excellent breakfast and welcoming pub downstairs. Would stay again but I’d book independently as YOU, HOTELS.COM did not pass on my payment to the Bootham and YOU told the Bootham I was 2 persons and needed to be charged double for breakfasts! I had to prove I’d paid for my stay when I arrived which made me feel very uncomfortable and I hold YOU, HOTELS.COM entirely responsible and in no way am I annoyed with the Bootham B&B. They were brilliant at resolving the mix up...
