"Beautiful property, but very little services available on site, no luggage storage, no one to ask questions or help with baggage up the stairs, or troubleshooting issues. There is a number you can text, but only responds during business hours. Not a good location if you will be relying on uber or lyft. Steam shower is a major plus."

"The staff was really friendly. The dining area and breakfast buffet was very clean. Food was good. The room was comfortable but showed its age. There were no cups at the bathroom sink. The carpet could definitely use a good shampoo. I wish they enforced no smoking at the front entrance. It was not pleasant walking in with cigarette smoke in my face. We were traveling with our dog so it suited our needs and would stay here again. "

"What a great stay! We needed some peace and quiet and Tanglewood absolutely fit the bill for us. The property is beautiful - the horses, chickens, bunny, and cats. We stayed in the Horse Hound suite and it was well appointed, extremely comfortable, clean and cozy. Great place to chill and relax. The farm is also a very short drive to downtown Southern Pines which has a great selection of shops and restaurants.
