"This was our second stay at this property. Staff were very friendly, polite and accommodating. This is prime location in Waikiki and walking distance to restaurants, food trucks and beaches. Rooms were spacious and clean. There was some occasional noise at nights from the streets due to raucous crowds who probably had too much to drink but thats probably unavoidable. "i have stayed at the kahala several times over a few decades and i feel like the property is getting tired and needs a refurbishment. It feels dated. I was told my room was newly refurbished and i guess it must have been really bad before because it didn’t feel all that different from previous stays. It doesn’t feel like a five star resort. "
