"Beautiful hotel and friendly staff however we had to wait longer than the norm in a 5 star establishment to check in and for a table at breakfast (though there were plenty available) At breakfast we had to ask for butter, for cutlery, for toast. Not terrible but I expected more."

"Fairly centrally located for short journey into city centre, staff very friendly and courteous, room was spacious and well presented with everything at hand for a comfortable stay. Particularly enjoyed the pool and spa complex including Pizza at the onsite restaurant McGettigans. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again on next business visit. "

"The Brooklodge is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are immaculate and lovely to walk around. It is a lovely old style building with a separate building called "brookhall" that has rooms and a geothermal pool. There is an amazing restaurant called the Strawberry tree restaurant, a great leisure centre. Overall, i think it is a little gem and off the beaten track but it is a must see. There is also a lovely quaint looking church beside a river stream-ideal for weddings. "
