"A splendid step back into Galway’s past in this boutique hotel situated in a medieval townhouse steps from the bustle of Quay Street. Our tiny but cozy room was on the third floor — and please note, if you have any kind of mobility issue, this is NOT the lodging for you, looking out on Cross Street (with some attendant noise at night) — but the emphasis here is on “cozy”, because it was comfortable and well-appointed. "Nicky was very accommodating. The room was really clean and worth every penny. The breakfast was also lovely, and very generous. Overall, we loved our stay."

"I very much liked my room and the location was second to none. I sat at one of the tables outside of the Welcome Inn Pub. I sat for one minute, finishing a tea and readying to go in for a pint. The bartender? Manager? Owner? Came out yelling at me to get out of the seat and “ this isn’t a picnic area” when I told him I was going to go in for a pint and that I live upstairs'—he told me “to get lost and we don’t want you here”. Really foul experience. Around two in afternoon. "
