"Right next to Jack London Square which has many dining options and 5 minute walk to ferry to San Francisco. Rooms are clean with a fridge. Free parking. The lobby and public areas need a remodel. Not the best area to the east and the noise from the Amtrak trains is loud. Breakfast needs improvement. "

"The receptionist was amazing when we got there to check in she was very patient and made sure we got everything we needed for our stay and answered any questions and concerns we had! The room was spacious for me and my family, the pool and hot tub were a fun activity also! I loved that the rooms were separate from the living room and kitchen, will definitely recommend and return for our future vacation! "

"We have been going to Lafayette park for years now . They have begun renovations on the room and the updated room we recently stayed in we loved. The pool is small and they let people buy day passes which is not great for people staying at the hotel. In summer it is packed with kids and that’s no fun when you’re trying to have a romantic getaway ! We love LPH but the pool should not be for public only guest .
