Great property! Everyone is cheerful and happy. Breakfast was fantastic, room was a great size, bed is super comfy! Can’t say enough about this boutique hotel- would recommend 💯. Wish we coulda stayed longer as I didn’t want to leave!

Check-in was difficult. We had a car and the valet space was not available and there was no valet to help us. We finally got parked on our own and into the entrance which is also their bar. The live music made it very difficult to hear the receptionist. She shrugged and agreed it was very loud but she made no suggestion to find a quieter location to check us in. It was very unpleasant. She gave us our room keys and sent us on our way. As we entered the elevator a man jumped in behind us and said he was the valet and he would take us to our room as we carried our own luggage. It was all very strange and not a good first impression. We were not informed until the third night of our stay the hotel offered a "finest hour" from 4 to 5 with a free cocktail and canapes. That was disappointing. The location of the hotel is great, the room was large and clean, but we thought it was overpriced for the experience. I want to give a shout out to the morning breakfast staff and the daily cleaning staff - they were awesome and the most friendly to us.

Elegant and stylish - the Loutrel is the perfect place to stay in Charleston. The hotel delivered to such a high standards on all aspects of our stay. From check in, complimentary refreshments, cocktail hour on the roof terrace and a delicious breakfast - the Loutrel’s service was superb. Perfectly placed, within easy walking distance of both historic and modern Charleston, there really isn’t any contest on where you should stay - the Loutrel made our visit.

This is a beautiful property within walking distance to the Charleston market, the high end stores on King Street and all restaurants. Your stay includes free hot breakfast, all kind of snacks, sodas, water and high end coffee machine and pods in the room. Also a beautiful roof top and the mezzanine has free coffee, tea, snacks and games to play. I rate this a 5-star hotel.

This hotel located in the French Quarter was everything and more of what we were looking for and there is no doubt that when we return (which we will) this is where we will stay again. The Louttel was top notch, staff was top notch, location was top notch, our room was top-notch, the maid service was top notch and everything was in walkable distance. We had Ubered to and from the airport and did not require a rental for this trip as the hotel location was so perfect to walk all the major/not worthy attractions. Totally loved this place!
