"When we arrived late at night to check in, the front desk girl was super nice. She knew exactly who we were as my son checked in before us. The room was great, Inusually have a hard time sleeping. The beds were so soft. Slept fantastic. Nice water view too. We will choose this hotel from now when traveling through to Virginia Beach. "

"Nice, clean newer hotel at The Highlands. My only gripes were no USB charger outlets anywhere in the room, and the heater sounded like a thunderstorm (lots of howling wind and rain pelting the windows)."

"Nice clean and quiet. Mini fridge was not working and breakfast was poor otherwise would have given 5 stars. I don’t expect much for breakfast but they only offered white toast some sugary cereal and waffles and one flavor of yogurt. No bagels or fruit or peanut butter or oatmeal. "
