"Booked a cabin last minute during a snow storm for me and my two Border Collies. The owner actually called me to make sure that I knew it was a camping cabin - which I thought was super nice. He brought down a second heater in case the first one didn’t warm the cabin up enough. It was a camping cabin so rustic. "We really enjoyed our stay at this property, where we nestled down for winter cooking, movies, and excellent snowy hot tub time watching the frozen Potomac. Its close enough for an excursion to Berkeley Springs, and we liked the bed! I often find rental mattresses to be too hard and this one was just right."

"Great location, close to national and state parks in the area."

"We were traveling from Florida,just looking for some snow and secluded spot.We have 3 German Shepherds,one of them is not friendly.Joe’s spot was was just what we needed.We got the whole mountain all to ourselves,easy drive,lots of snow and fun.Saw a deer on our hike.Will definitely be back,my favorite place to be ,didnt want to leave."

"The cabin was very well appointed. All linens were provided, as well as plenty of spare cleaning products for dishes and laundry. The interior of the cabin was beautiful and well laid out. Unfortunately we had mainly rain while in town, so the technology played a large part for us. The town of Berkely Springs is 20 minutes away and is fantastic! With or without kids along, this is a great place to stay! "

"No central heating, bathroom fan couldn't be turned off, dinning room table light didn't work and front steps were not safe."

"It was a cozy little tiny house located right on the river. I came in January and it was about 15 degrees outside so I did not get to use the outdoor shower or grill. I was able to enjoy the view of the river from the tiny house and walk outside on the road (not too many cars). If it was any warmer I would have built a fire and sat outside closer to the river. I would love to come back and stay when it was warmer to enjoy the outdoor more. Perfect retreat to reset. Very close to a nearby college...

"Tony was an amazing host. The property was home-y and very spacious. Perfect place to accommodate 2 couples and 2 children (or adults who are children at heart). It was a nice little getaway in the woods with easy access to the town. If you’re looking for a place for some great R&R, this is your spot!"

"Very clean and cozy. The outside temps were never warmer than 25 F but the inside was always warm and comfy. We could stream on the wifi, and we also had cell service. The owner was responsive to any questions. GPS took us right where we needed to be, and it was dark."
