We like to stay at this hotel whenever we are in the area, very safe, clean, updated rooms, and decent breakfast. Lots of free parking, great for vehicles with trailers, motorhomes, and tractor trailers. There is a casino attached to the hotel which can be an added bonus, a few places to eat in the area plus some shopping, ie: Walmart, Bealls, Dollar Store if you need to pick up a few things.

They would not let us check in before 4.So at 4, we got back in line and waited in line for 30 minutes will everyone in front of us checked in only for them to tell us our room was still not ready, we had to wait longer.

We stayed in a newly remodeled room so that was nice. We didn't get in our room till after 5 pm because "it wasn't ready". That was unexpected and inconvenient. Having traveled all day we were tired and hungry and ready to relax. Also, on-line booking with expedia was much cheaper than when we called the motel directly ($90.00 cheaper)

I understand your remodeling, but you could still have people cleaning elevators doors especially gross. Dust I understand some but 100 percent don’t want to touch anything that’s how bad. Also no tea bags but hot water, my husband is diabetic and only sweet sugars and no peanut butter or nuts he usually will eat oatmeal but nothing to go with it. Even the small hotels we have stayed in have better delegation than a large casino. Quit being so cheap. Not sure if we will stay there again. Just sad.
