"We traveled with a couple who are good friends to celebrate my upcoming birthday. Visiting Harpers Ferry in the winter was a good decision, because it wasn't crowded yet most everything was open. Breweries and wineries and museums. . . it was a great trip! The home is beautiful and very thoughtfully restored. The owner even won a preservation award for the house and it's richly deserved! The kitchen is well stocked and everything was just comfortable. It was a great place from which to explore...

"Stayed a full week over Thanksgiving. 2 Grandparents, 4 parents, 2 grandkids, and 3 dogs. Plenty of room outside for kids to play and dogs to be walked. Jacuzzi was nice in the cold evenings. Less than 10 mins to shopping and restaurants and the New River under the fantastic bridge. Five minutes to the visitors center and lookout. Adventure center is even closer. Excellent location!"

"The house and property were absolutely perfect for our group. Lots of privacy, the renovations are very well done. All technology is top of the line and works as expected. The pool, or in our case hot tub, was even better than we expected. It was used both nights we were there. The barn apartment is a wonderful place for some additional privacy from a large group, and is extremely comfortable. We would recommend this house 100%. "

"This quiet little house is right by trails that overlook a reservoir. Everything was clean and fairly newly remodeled. A couple of small things were wrong, the Keurig had a part missing and the ironing board didn't stay up properly. In general, though, it was a really great place, not to far from downtown but with a secluded feel."

"We had a great girls trip at this house. It’s within walking distance to downtown. You have to cross the main road but there is a safe walking bridge you can use to go over the road. Owner was very responsive and nice! "
