"Nice stay in this facility. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was good. Lovely old building. Room was clean. Location was ok for downtown SJ but extra care needed in area very close by. Wouldn't want to stray too far in the wrong direction after dark ( or early Sunday morning as we did !) would recommend this place. "

"The staff was wonderful. The mattress was a bit lumpy, but it didn't keep me from sleeping. Shower head/ water pressure meant a fairly small cone of water. Once I adjusted the angle of my tablet the wi-fi signal strength improved dramatically. Good breakfast served by very pleasant ladies. Location is a bit out of the way, so front desk had to call me a cab each day I was there. On the last day, no cabs were available, so Maria called me an Uber."
