"We had a good time here. The internet is definitely spotty but it seemed like the internet company was working on it down at the road so maybe it'll be better for the next guests. Lots of bugs and critters but you're in the jungle so it's to be expected. The upper room was great to spot monkeys and birds. The listing was a bit confusing in regard to the bedrooms... there's definitely only two, not three as written in part of the listing. 4x4 vehicle came in handy to get up the hill, but 2WD also...

"Beautiful jungle atmosphere. Wildlife animals observed on the property. Great drinks at the bar. Breakfast buffet and dinner was delicious. Walking distance to the beach and other restaurants. The family cabin had a wonderful patio and hammocks. I would’ve preferred adults only. It was almost impossible to be in the swimming area near the wet bar with so many kids present. "Our stay at The Caribbean Paradise lodge was very pleasant, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The grounds are very clean , lots of wildlife you can hear and see. It is 10 minutes away from Tortuguero village by taxi boat, but the staff is always ready to help with that.
