"The place is gorgeous and the owner and his in house staff were very very on point. They was one major factor that needs to be addressed. There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. They were also in their 80s with a bad back. Would’ve never made it up to the kitchen, which was about 10 steps left. I wish we could’ve seen the reviews, but it...

"We had an amazing stay. This is a gorgeous place for larger groups. Monkeys, sloths, butterflies all visited the property. The beach is a short walk away and the grounds are beautiful!"

"I loved this place. We had a great stay. A few things to note: all rooms face the outside. Like a motel. Kitchens/living rooms are outside too. Mosquitos everywhere. To be expected but best to prepare ahead of time. Pool was nice to have. It was hard to keep steps clean because they were outside but they were very clean when we got there. Glad they had someone on sight to check us in because the original location sent wasn’t accurate and he was able to send me location in wayze, which worked...

"This property is amazing. Without leaving the front yard we saw: a sloth, baby iguanas, toucans, capuchin monkeys, macaws, agouti, geckos, butterflies, and humming birds. Some of the best food we’ve ever had was within walking distance, as was the beach, and waiting for us after every excursion was the new pool. A quick dip, and we were instantly refreshed. We couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. Best anniversary ever! "

"Beautiful Caribbean style property across the street from the beach. The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. Property has all the basic amenities and is very comfortable. Easy drive to Playa Cocles and Puerto Viejo for groceries etc. I would definitely recommend!"

"This cute hotel was on the main road in Puerto Viejo, however, it sits back so you don’t hear all the noise from the traffic or restaurants. Great location. It rained most of our trip so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our 2nd day some little bugs appeared in the bathroom, there were a lot; we called and they came right up and sprayed. We had a cute balcony outside our room; I think they all have patios or balconies. I loved sitting outside the room hearing the nature when the sun would come up or at sunset. We added the breakfast pkg; mom had the American breakfast daily and I had the Pinto; good food. I will definitely be back to the city and the hotel. There’s no other restaurant on site but tons of places to eat within a short walk, Uber ride or Tuktuk. "
