The receptionist was fabulous, lots of information and we were able to move right into our room on arrival at 8:00am. Lovely spot and lovely staff. No elevators may be a problem for some."

"The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything for basic cooking. Only issue was a metal panel on the outside stairwell was loose and noisy flapping in the wind but otherwise it was a great place to stay!"

The downside: you're right in the heart of the main tourist strip in Reykjavik, which can be pretty loud on weekends and holiday evenings, and the two bedrooms and living room face out...
