"Our whole stay was wonderful… especially friendliness of staff and all the added niceties (like anniversary card signed by staff and chocolates in room. The upgrade to superior, the spa swim pool and most of all the peacocks roaming the lawn. I have recommended it to friends."

"The apartment was nice, but definitely not without its problems. The seating in the living room was most uncomfortable and the rooms were always cold. Asked once for heating, but never received an answer so we used the heater in the kitchen. The host was at times unbearable as she kept telling us what to do or not to do repeatedly as if we were children. Through our multiple exchanges, she also mentioned that she was a lawyer. We were charged an excessive amount for a simple fix to her heated...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Grove. It is a lovely hotel, especially if you are a golfer. Food wise The Glasshouse has a wonderful selection of food - but it is buffet (not every one’s cup of tea). The food at The Stables was also very good, but if you have some mobility difficulties, it is a long walk outdoors to get there! Concierge will arrange a buggy - but take your coat in winter! Lovely breakfast in the Glasshouse with excellent selection. Obviously The Grove is not cheap!"

"Pretty good, rooms are bit simple but sufficient and as there's a pub there's some noise outside. But overall pleased, especially with breakfast. Biggest issue was the far car park."

"The carpets were filthy and stained. Most of the were drawers broken in the room. The bed kept separating a bit. No plug in the bathroom sink. Wall paper peeling. The hotel is in need of a makeover. Check in was really good."
