"This was a remarkable historic place to stay with so much architectural character in the old building. Just sitting in the bar having a drink by the huge historic fireplace was a wonderful experience! The grounds, walk to the canal and adjacent church were equally amazing. We also had a lovely dinner and breakfast but the building itself and grounds was a highlight of our 2 week visit to the Cotswolds!"

"the hotel was absolutely lovely, staff were pleasant and check in was fast and easy. however i wasnt aware that this hotel was dog friendly and I suffer from allergies so sneezing my through my stay wasnt the best. i would also say that a mini fridge should most definitely be an essential in each room as i had to my put my dip and cheesecake in a bag outside to stay cold to find out it was then taken by staff the following day. the TV is also incredibly small for the size of the rooms it could...

They gave us an upgrade to such a lovely room and when our bath plug wasn't working, they kindly let me have a bath in a different room so I could get ready for an event. An extremely pleasant group of people! 10/10! Oh, and the gluten-free eggs benedict was spot-on ♥️"
