We had a wonderful kaiseki dinner, just be prepared to eat a lot. The courses kept coming beautifully prepared and so worried. All the staff are fantastic it more than matter expectations on every account."

"This hotels is much like a western hotel in its room size and layout. Having traveled through Tokyo and Nagoya so far, we felt spoilt when we arrived at this hotel. The only improvement I would like to see is an English TV channel or two. "

"Room was clean and beautiful view of River and Gifu castle from my 8th floor. Complimentary breakfast was delicious with a great variety of cuisine, juices and coffee. Spa was great with hot tub, sauna, crystal clear pool and clean robes, towels etc. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Gifu anytime in the future. "

"A great location - a few minutes to the station and 10-15 min walk to old town. Really nice Ryokan style facility - shoes off at the entrance, Tatami mats throughout, group and individual onsens on the top floor with views of the city And the breakfast buffet was an impressive array of eastern and western foods.
