"Very enjoyable stay the hosts were very accommodating. First class breakfast. The whole place was so clean but not uncomfortable or clinical. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Would stay again. One minor criticism the room was terribly hot, but otherwise a brilliant find. "

"Good sized car park. Comfy bed. Air con was noisy, couldn’t have slept with it on but accommodation was fairly quiet overall. Had an evening meal, food was good value and very tasty. Quite a noisy and lively vibe in the bar/restaurant with the tvs showing sport but it felt friendly. Staff were very friendly and polite. Would stay again."

"Claire - Reception Desk made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door, she made my birthday special by taking care of the car park fees and gave me a complimentary gift for my birthday. The surroundings are clean and elegant. The bedroom was very clean, spacious and quiet. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the dinner menu is limited, needs to offer more options for vegans, vegetarians and pescaterians. We ordered cod and chips, the cod was overcooked and saturated in oil,...

"We had a fantastic time at Downhall, which is a beautiful property with lovely grounds. A big thank you to every single member of staff that we came across, as everyone was friendly and helpful. But a massive thank you to the lady (duty manager) who helped my family . She changed rooms for us, upgraded some of the rooms, so our 5rooms would be close to one another. Can’t wait to go back👍"
