"First time iv gone in a B&B without the need to disinfect and wipe furniture down! The room was excellent, just big enough had all you needed. And staff was happy to give me extra milk and tea ect ( we drink lors of it ) We didnt need to ask fir extra pillowsas pillows were lovely and plump, we had an accessible room, lovely big wet room, a slope up to the door. "Very enjoyable stay the hosts were very accommodating. First class breakfast. The whole place was so clean but not uncomfortable or clinical. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Would stay again. One minor criticism the room was terribly hot, but otherwise a brilliant find. "

"Check in was easy, arrived and the staff were very friendly and engaging, got shown the room which was beautifully presented. Had dinner, the food was delicious, service was excellent , we had a few drinks and went to bed, had a fabulous nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Had breakfast (which was included) and I couldn’t fault it at all, all in all, had a wonderful stay and would very highly recommend."

"A beautiful place to stay. Our room was so clean and bright with wonderful facilities. A nice quiet location but near enough to the town. Our hosts were great and the breakfast was superb. I can't wait to visit again."

"Excellent overnight stay for nearby wedding venue. Welcomed and shown to room. All facilities explained. Freshly cooked breakfast to order, just as you want, plus cereals, fruit, yoghurt juice etc. Hosts very friendly, and nothing too much trouble. Extra toast, decaf coffee etc. We had a lovely clean, fresh room. Comfortable bed and toiletries all supplied. Very good indeed."

"This was a beautiful dated building, not your conventional place to stay but i would most definitely return, service was amazong, so friendly and efficient, this was for my wedding, one night before and night of, the jacuzzi bath was fantastic and both my son and my wife loved it, good for us bigger lads who cants normally enjoy a bath, very low ceilings but there are warnings in all the night places, would highly recommend if you want a peaceful retreat, the breakfast was amazing and good...

"Very interesting building, very quiet. Waggon and Horse we had an excellent Thai meal."

"No heating and cheap duvet = freezing cold unable to sleep. No bedside table or bedside light. No seating or "work/eating desk". Small sink in bathroom too small to fill kettle, no plug in sink. Only one light switch in the room (by the entry door). Good mood lighting but got the impression that hourly rates might be available! Didn't stay for breakfast ..... "
