"For a simple check in, we had to wait quite long. Then the water inside the room is brown and small flow, the heater does work even work too much so that we had to take a shower with the water like coming from hell (too much hot water). The temperature of the water couldn't be adjusted to normal temperature. Even if the location is good, I think there are still other better budget decent hotels at the same location. I will not come back here next time."

"We didn't get the towel if we didn't ask for it. The hair shampoo was empty at the bath. The check out time took a long time. Everything else was nice."

"Was fine for the price, but the room had a mold smell, and the carpet was covered in stains. Was clean though and the bed was clean and super comfortable. Staff were very nice. Area around is okay, mall is nice, but not much around besides that."

"Checked out after one night, not for travelers, maybe a local wouldn't mind it but it's not in a good location. Don't believe their website pictures. My friend and I had booked for three nights and ended up staying just one. Plus when booking, it said pay deposit and reminder on arrival, but they had withdrawn the full amount from my account within 2 days of booking. We tried to contact them 3 times via email before traveling there but it was not a working email for my friend, for me, I just...

"Always love staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya. Located in the nice neighborhood of Tunjungan street, it is very convenient to walk around. All the staffs are friendly, from the security greeting you at the gate at the lobby. Room ais lways nice with the best smell amenities that they have. Breakfast is amazing, with local delicacies and authentic flavours. One minus experience is just the TV signal is not really good, so it oftens lose signal in mid-streaming for 1-2 minutes and you can't nicely follow the story. But overall stay experience is really good and nice, will definitely come back again "
