"Excellent stay at Cairns Plaza Hotel for a short family trip to Cairns. Wonderful city and sea views from our balcony which was perfect for enjoying a drink after a day of exploring. Comfortable beds and helpful staff, and the pool was a highlight. Only downside was awkward layout/door placement of bathroom which meant only one person could be in the bathroom at a time."

It should be made clearer that the bonus you get for not having the room serviced on a daily basis is actually claimable in food and drink on a daily basis and not simply credited to you account "
