"It’s a really old hotel, but they keep it exceptionally clean, the staff already friendly and the breakfast was really good. There are some cute little initiatives like if you don’t have your room cleaned every day you get $10 credit to spend in the hotel. We were basically using this as a stop for trips and excursion so $30 credit paid for all our fancy coffees in the nice barista downstairs. If you are planning to spend a lot of time around the pools, then I would say look somewhere else,...

"One bedroom ocean view suite. Very comfortable. Close to restaurants and market. Friendly staff. Christina was very welcoming at check in. AC in both living room and bedroom was a plus, as the weather was quite hot."

"Pros: large unit with outdoor area. 2 TVs. All the necessary for cooking. Pool area is relaxing and beautiful. Lots of space to park. Staff is super friendly and helpful and their pets are the best! Easy walk to Lagoon area and minutes away from the Esplanade. Super quiet - didn’t hear any noise from outside, hallway, or other units. Cons: Dated unit. AC wasn’t the best, so the room smelled damp. Staff office hours are hit or miss."

"The wifi was awful, connection kept dropping out and more often than not i had to connect to the free Telstra. I had to wash all the cups and dishes as they were greasy. Otherwise it was great. The view was amazing! The Esplanade and night markets were right outside. Loads of bars and restaurants just seconds away. We watched loads of birds flying past our balcony."
