"I am impressed with the spaciousness of this hotel, including the lobby, sitting areas on each floor, dining/restaurant, my hotel room/bathroom, and the fun see-through elevators which are plentiful with nearly no wait time! I had a lovely view of the city from the 15th floor which I enjoyed day and night. Both coffee and tea (plus bottled water) are provided each day. Super comfortable bed allowed for restful sleep and relaxation. It was my little piece of heaven for 6 nights. The only negatives I can think of are the shower temperature is not easy to adjust and the hotel is a little far from MRT station (maybe I'm spoiled.) The Breeze shopping center is right next door for food court, supermarket, etc. A comparatively larger size Seven-11 is connected to the hotel so you don't even need to leave the hotel to get snacks or other daily use items. I would love to return to Illume in the future!"

"At first thought the rooms were really dark and sad, but gotta say, it was so quiet, clean, beds were soft, and location was great next to main station. Staff was super attentive. At first was jealous other hotels gave instant ramen as free snacks, but after couple days in Taiwan, I really liked how palais de chine gave free fruit as snacks to help with fiber intake lol. It was a very comfortable stay and I would recommend staying here to others!"

"That is the right decision that we booked CityInn Taipei Main Station Branch II for our stay in Taipei for a simple stay near the main station as the main hub. This simple but sufficiently comfortable hotel has everything we need. Fuently-English speaking front desk people that are always ready to help foreigners with everything they need to enjoy Taipei at its best, and essential facilities free-to-use to ease our pains, such as laundry and common pantry including free coffee, tea and snacks. Not to forget the free cup noodles after 10 pm. Spotless room with comfy bed and private bathroom. I have to say it is small but enough space for a couple. It's best choice for a short stay to cover Taipei main interests, especially for first-timers with language barriers like us."
