"Really really nice room. The Ski in only applies to west mountain which you have to take the nearest lift to use which is a REALLY short run designed for learning or beginnners. The Ski out does go to this lift… but if you’re not just learning it’s not somewhere you want to spend your day. If you’re planning on spending most time at East or Isola, it does take some time to get over there via walk and gondola (25 mins or so assuming no lines). "

"Lovely property and staff. However, there is a overwhelming sulfuric/sewage smell issue, particularly in the bedrooms and the water that comes from the bathtub in the suite. The only solution is propping windows and doors open at all times. Though the smell may be attributable to the neighboring onsen facilities, the smell is too strong to be acceptable. If the Maples could figure out how to fix this, it would be a perfect stay."

Hot water in bathroom hot for a while, cold for a while, very unpredictable and made showering not pleasant at all, and this happens in all the shower room in the unit I stayed in. Many bugs in the room, most of it dead, looks like house keeping didn't see underneath the sofa chairs.
