"My husband and I stayed only one night during a road trip. We loved the beauty of the location and enjoyed eating our dinner on the porch overlooking the mountains. We found our room in the West Wing to be clean and well appointed with everything one could need. The bed was comfortable and the AC/heat unit quiet. "For this particular occasion, I wanted the setting to be somewhat rustic and Forrest Hills was the perfect environment. The exterior of the buildings needs some facelift, but we were pleasantly surprised by the conditions of the rooms that looked like they had been recently renovated. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant food at the Hideaway restaurant was excellent along with the service."

"We had never visited Dahlonega. The cabin was an easy 10 min drive to town. The cabin was spotless. Great bed and pillows. Cute cute property. Personnel were great. Loved the wine flight. Fun added feature. Good parking. Ultra pet friendly. "

"We had such a nice time getting away from the busyness of home to this precious cabin in the woods. Tons of room for the kids to explore and play outside. We all collected sticks for starting a fire and played tag in the huge fenced in back yard. The kids loved the yard games provided and the treehouse. It was very quiet and relatively private. The cabin was super clean and well decorated which I value a lot . We felt right at home. "
