This rustic 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is the perfect place to enjoy nature while listening to the sounds of the river running by from the open deck overhanging the river. A fisherman`s paradise - trout fishing right in front of your own cabin - catch your limit on the beautiful clear waters of the fast flowing Chattahoochee River.

The property is close to the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Preserve and there is something for everyone in the area: fishing, hiking, river tubing, or horseback riding at Sunburst Stables or just relaxing in the hot tub on the deck as you watch the river flow by. This perfect spot for rest and relaxation is located close to nature and the headwaters of the Upper Chattahoochee River and only 1 mile from the vibrant center of Helen, GA. This cozy cabin is located just minutes from the shopping and dining of the delightful alpine village of Helen, GA and a short drive to the spectacular Anna Ruby Falls, Dukes Creek Falls, Smithgall Woods Center and Unicoi State Park. It is the perfect vacation cabin for a couple or small family.

Back in the boonies
Older cabin right on the river. Can tell the cabin has been built on to but it all worked well. At the end of a gravel road in the woods but everything you need and still only a mile or so from downtown Helen. Deck in excellent shape right over the river. Not glitz and glitter but a welcome change from condos, etc. Plenty of parking and only six or seven easy steps up to the cabin. The kind of stay you will remember.

Perfect spot close enough to walk to town and if you love floating on the river this is your spot . Down side is there is not enough plug ins in some of the rooms and no cell reception

GREAT GETAWAY
THE PORCH OVER THE RIVER IS SO PEACEFUL AND FULL OF ENERGY. LOVED THE EASY ACCESS TO TOWN. THE HOUSE WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE FIREPLACE WAS GOING THE WHOLE TIME COMPLETING THE EXPERIENCE.

Great riverside location
We were thrilled with the location of the cabin on the river and basically over the river. We loved spending time on the back deck as the river tubers floated down the Chattahoochee River. The hot tub made a great end to every evening.
