"Fab location with stunning view from the breakfast room. Near enough to walk into Coniston main town within 5-10 minutes. Great that parking was available. Pub just across the road serving good food. Tracey was friendly and amenable. Great breakfast. Compact room but perfectly adequate. "

"We stayed in a Shepherd's hut and it was great! Lovely location for going walking (only about 10min drive from a car park to go up old man coniston) Was super cosy and warm inside the hut, everything you need to prepare food, a tv to watch Netflix etc and bed was decent. It did get quite damp in there at night leaving the corners of the bed a bit wet in the morning but nothing too extreme. (Might be worse after more than 2 nights though.)
