"This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again! "

"We stayed at Romer House for 6 days of our Hawaii vacation and LOVED it. The space is beautiful and newly renovated, they did a great job. The pool and bar was perfect for us (not big swimmers). "The staff was amazing. Always there to greet you even if they were busy with another customer. They had everything you would need for a fun beach trip which was so convenient. The only thing was the AC in our room was making a grinding noise all day/night. I didn't bring it to their attention so not sure if it could've been fixed but that was the only issue. "Great value!!! This place is located in a great area, right next to everything you need when in Waikīkī. It may not be a 5 Star hotel but it is right down the street from some. A couple blocks to the beach, lots of restaurants and shopping areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The self serve laundry was very helpful. The place is a bit aged but it was decent and fairly clean. If you are on a budget this place is worth it for sure."
