"We enjoyed our stay at The Ryder. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very simple with a very comfy bed and pillows. The food was excellent at the restaurant and delicious drinks at the bar. I also loved having a coffee shop in the building, good and convenient. I recommend the Ryder!"

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"Our room was on one of the renovated floors and was excellent in every respect. We recognized that the similar renovations were going on on other floors but we were willing to pardon the dust as we entered the facility and in the elevators. We were aware that one day all will be finished to make for a much nicer hotel."

"We enjoyed the staff, the gourmet breakfast and the room. The breakfast host was delightful. The buildings were historic and beautiful. The location was convenient to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. One negative is the bathroom was a little beat up - the towel bars were hanging out of the wall, the shower tile was cracked as was the pedestal sink. "

"The property, including the room, was absolutely fantastic! The staff were nothing but helpful and kind. Marriah and the other shuttle drivers were incredible. Did I mention they have a FREE shuttle to downtown and back every half hour?! One of the best hotels I have ever been to! Highly recommend!"
