"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"My girl and I very much enjoyed our Valentine's day weekend at Tides and will definitely stay here again. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. We did have a miss on our room being cleaned one day, but this was quickly corrected by the service manager. The location is perfect with about a dozen restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Parking is free, convenient and secure. The beach here is very nice; clean, very dog friendly, and with sand hard packed enough for long...

"Everything was 5 stars. Rooftop bar was lovely. This hotel was on the harbor and we did need to drive downtown but it was a 5 minute drive so no big deal. The hotel was undergoing dining room renovation but the kitchen was still open and provided room service and also to the rooftop bar. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel! "
