"Have stayed here on numerous occasions, but the last was pre-Covid. Staff are nice, food in restaurant good. Surprised to see the conditions of the room has somewhat gone downhill. The hotel is in dire need of an uplift. The room I stayed in could use a new coat of paint and some remodeling. Not sure how old the hotel is, but there is a need to upgrade and remodel. Perhaps Covid had an impact and the hotel could not afford to make necessary improvements, but hopefully they’re in a better...

"My partner and I stayed 7 nights at Rustic River Boutique and it became our little home away from home! The girls were so lovely and always helpful. Delicious coffee and tea downstairs from the cafe at the hotel and a gorgeous common area to chill out or do some work. The location was perfect for us and spoilt for choice with local restaurants (highly recommend Ivy). Everything was walkable also or just a short grab. "

"Stayed 4 nights at Banthai Village in the deluxe room near the pool. It is a cozy boutique hotel away from the bustling streets yet safe and walkable to old city, Chinatown and the night markets. Excellent hotel to enjoy quiet sleep, greenery and staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel provides mosquito repellent but still got bitten outside the room especially during rainy days. Floor in the room can be slippery but slippers are provided. Water pressure from the shower head is inconsistent....
