"The screened in porch was great when it rained - we could still enjoy the river. Being right on the rainbow river was priceless. There were enough kayaks for all of us, life jackets -- everything. Comfy couches and chairs for the entire family in the large living room. Quiet secluded neighborhood. All of this offset the older home. We actually felt like we were at grandma's house -- even had vintage dishes!"

"The entire process, from booking to checkout, was excellent. The Owner responded quickly back and when we met he and his wife they were so personable and made us totally welcome. They are exceptional! I highly recommend staying at this wonderful log home on 11 acres. The evening on the deck were super relaxing and early morning coffee was wonderful seeing the wildlife. "It was our 31st anniversary and this was a perfect getaway for a couple of days. The 'cabin' was clean, wonderfully furnished, quiet and very relaxing. We have stayed in Cedar Key a number of times over the years so wanted to see how they fared thru the storms. Devastating for sure, but such great locals. The walk into town was short and easy so we ate and drank all all the open places we could find! So, perfect quick trip and we definitely recommend the Cedar Hill Depot!!"

"My husband and I stayed for a few days at the cabin while visiting some friends and family in florida. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor shower, and it was a pleasant surprise. The downsides were that there is not very much space for hanging or storage. Not much bathroom privacy, but we very much enjoyed the outdoor space . "

"We had a great stay! Was only 5 of us but it was wonderful with an abundance of extra sleeping room and space! Tyler was able to accommodate us last minute after 2 prior BNBs were cancelled due to the hurricane and we needed to find a new place within 24 hours our departure. He was also very prompt with questions I had when booking As well as on site. Would highly recommend all the way around!"

"Hard to put into words how sirene and calming this place was for my son and I. An ama,ing way to camp but still be off the ground from rain and keep the mosquitos away. The river was so peacful and calming to stare at. The shower is nice and cold, perfect for in the summer, and the enclosed bathroom was perfect. If you want to camp but still have some creature comforts, this is your place. The owners were super cool when they checked to see if we needed anything. I will be coming back for sure"
