"This location was more than I had expected. I was wary at first, just because of never using VRBO before. Cabin 3 was a perfect get away for my husband and I. Zen at the Palms is a perfect name for this beautiful oasis. We weren't bothered by critters or humans. The hot tub, outside sitting area, grill and fire pit were very nice. There were many locations near to explore and plenty of store locations as well such as Walmart, still leaving you with a country feel. Not too close but also not too...

"If you are looking for something off the beaten path, this is definitely the place. Location right on river lends to quiet nights and relaxation. We saw a lot of wildlife during our stay. The driveway is a 1.2 mile one lane dirt road so prepare accordingly—thankfully we have a truck! "

"I needed a little break from my everyday, and found this adorable little cabin by the lake. It’s just what I needed to breakaway, unwind, de-stress and relax. The cabin was just as described and just what I needed. I had a question about something and the owner was quick to respond and assist. "We went with our 11 year old daughter and the location was perfect. Had manatees right up at the dock, accommodations were clean, and relaxing. We brought our boat and it was a little tough with the tidal changes but we made it work. The canoe provided was the better was to explore and we added our trolling motor. Overall, amazing trip and would recommend the place."

"The lake was beautiful.We had no toilet paper.The smell was got Awful left and stayed with people 2 night. Had garbage hands outside and then we didn't. It was not clean we will never stay again. Ate at the restaurant.It was terrible the first night the second night.It was decent"

"The place was perfect for our family, me my husband and our daughter, the host had everything ready for us at the welcome center with packets of the amenities at the park and in the community which we used! She was super helpful and responsive if we had any questions. The property had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Plus a washer and dryer which made it even better! Also the cabin was very clean (: we can’t wait to come back and book with her again! "

"Quiet spot not too far from Homosassa and Crystal River. 4 friendly dogs on the property that are within the fenced in area of the Southwest Cottage. There is another cottage/rental on the property but it across the property past the horse barn (the 2 horses love carrots) and not visible from the Southwest Cottage. Host lives on the property and was friendly and quickly responded to questions and any issues.Clean, simple accommodations for two people, would stay again."
