"This is a no frills, "old-fashion" budget hotel. Very well managed. Room was clean, grounds were well care for, plus a nice size, clean pool and a shuffleboard area. Check-in rules initially seemed a little excessive (any guest of occupant had to show their ID at front desk), but I quickly realized this was to keep this a family friendly, budget hotel, and not a place for transients. A/C worked, TV remote worked, coffee available in lobby in the morning. Highly recommend! "

"My grandson wanted to move in the house is so beautiful and well decorated. Being on the river was very relaxing and convenient. We took the kayaks out every day and enjoyed paddling on the river and looking for manatees. My grandson even saw some otters. The house is near the kayak rental so I enjoyed people watching; noise was not an issue for us and I liked the activity, which is limited to about 9 am to about 6 pm and after that it is complete silence. We liked being able to walk to the restaurant which is about 3 houses down. I'm very glad we chose this spot in Florida for the week. Better than the beach."
