"While the room is obviously newly renovated and clean, it smelled like cigarettes in there. Outside the units are bunch of personal items from the other unit that seems to be from people who are checked in for a longer stay or like they actually live there. By the parking lot, there are homeless people camping out by the dumpster in their cars and RV. They wouldn’t bother you and I wasn’t really bothered but just wanting to let other people know so they don’t get surprised when they come to stay...

"This was a great property. Everything in the listing and some extras. The location was perfect with walking distance to stores and restaurants, just a stone's throw from Balboa Park and the Zoo. Quiet, clean, and restful. Our host responded quickly the couple times we had questions. Would 100% recommend to a couple or a couple friends visiting San Diego. "

"This is a really good option if you want to be close to downtown. Lots of good restaurants, bars, museums, ect. to see in a walkable distance. Just make sure to bring earplugs because this property is directly under the flight path for planes landing at the airport, they pass over only a couple hundred feet overhead continuously all day but slack off at night. Overall I enjoyed it. "
