"The property was very nicely updated and centrally located. The staff was friendly and helpful. The perks were great with bellman at the ferry to collect your luggage and $20 credit for food each day. The score is not 5 stars only because the room was a bit tight and the view was a white wall to the building next door. If i could give 4 1/2 stars, I would! "

"This is like a hidden oasis! The rooms are clean and tidy. The sheets were nice and the 2 seater balcony was really a nice touch. The food in the restaurant was home cooked and super tasty. The Staff was pleasant and helpful. The Drivers who command the shuttles are super helpful with luggage and expeditious service. We will be going back!"

"This really should be 4 stars . Great room in a quaint seaside “villiage” Avalon, Catalina island. An hour from the mainland, Los Angeles! Older hotel; very clean; large room with King size bed. Ours had balcony with partial ocean view. Service and management were awesome . Highly recommended"
