"This property is beautiful and clean, in an excellent location. Rooms are large, but the kitchen area is open air, so if you actually planned to cook, it might get fairly warm. The rooftop pool is beautiful with seats in sun and shade, and an ice machine nearby. Air conditioners worked well and it was handy to have an elevator available as we stayed on the third floor. Front desk service was excellent."

"Gorgeous boutique hotel in a beautifully restored colonial mansion. The location is great - in the Walled City but a bit off the super busy streets. Still so convenient but much quieter than the louder party streets. The pool is perfection on a hot Cartagena afternoon, and above all - the staff here is exceptional! "

"Movich Hotel Cartagena was a fabulous place to stay. I really enjoyed the location in the Centro which is close to everything including the marina and historic plazas with restaurants and nightlife. The service is stellar including Alexander Diaz and Anyelli Reyes who both did their best to make my stay comfortable and luxurious."

"We are going back next year. The only thing that could be better were the mattresses. They could be replaced, but that won’t keep us from going back to Casa del Arzobispado. It’s four blocks from anywhere in the Walked City and an even shorter walk to fabulous restaurants and shopping. The staff is outstanding. So accommodating for our handicapped member and the rest of our family. The staff all knew our names by the second day. The entryway is an iron gate that is locked 24/7. They have to buzz you into the lobby. So safe. The breakfast at Epocha is incredible, the OJ is fresh squeezed and the croissants are made on site! Yes, the pool is small (but is just right for us) and yes, the building was built in the 1700’s. If you want a modern luxury hotel, stay in Boca Grande. If you want to be in the center of Cartagena history and be in a beautiful setting, stay here. We have traveled a good deal and this is the first place where we are going to go back to stay. "
