"Great place. Responsive owners who live next door. Ample space for 2 people. Nice outdoor area including deck with a great view and a hot tub. Clean, everything needed for cooking, chairs and cooler. Only thing I'll say, which is a St John thing overall, have a 2 door jeep. Very least have ground clearance, 4x4 would be preferable. You won't get around this island and up and down this driveway without it. It's worth it though. Have fun! "

"This was our second time at the cottage, and it was even better than the first. Really a perfect little cabin for two with a great bed, comfortable porch, and beautiful view. Lots of great touches: a record player and games, very good local books, beach gear and towels, beautiful lights at night. There were 3 beaches within a 10 minute walk including popular Salt Pond, and secluded Kiddle and Grootpan. Swimming, hiking, and snorkeling were our favorites! "The rural location was great, 2 mi from Cane Bay. There is no beach access from the property. I don't recommend walking to the nearby pull over access. A partial view of the waves from the lanai where we spent most of our time. The historic house rooms are small ex/ lg master bedroom. Great for 2. Betty was quick to take care of any issues. We would stay here again."
