"The pictures are deceiving the Inn is inside a big building. There is no parking space in this area at night and during the day you have to pay for street parking. Once you are inside the Inn is really homey. I enjoyed the bedding. Only complaint would be that I couldn't control the temperature in the room. I was hot in the morning and I couldn't open the window."

"Pros: Great location, so close to Piazza del Duomo, restaurants etc. We had the attic room which was big enough for our one night stay (2 adults and 1 child). Comfy beds and good WiFi. Breakfast was good value and staff were very friendly and helpful. Cons: Cleanliness of room could be improved, black mould in bathroom and lampshade likely due to lack of ventilation in attic rooms"

"This place was unique. Walkable to local restaurants so you get to eat like locals, get a gelato , maybe from Argentinos, but homemade! Park in the street. Maria Gli was very communicate with us. Room is clean, cute, safe and quiet sleep! Very good experience for a fam. with kids. I definitely recommend this option for a budget and want to explore “local” more than a typical tourist."

"It is a room in the house with private bathroom. Its ok to sleep and go,clean enough . The check in was difficult. The phone numbers provuded at the entrance were outdated. You have to contact the owner at least a day before and plann accordingly. I was traveling by carand it waanot convenient as all the trip was a discovery for us and we didnt know where and when we would stop for longer time."

"We found the relais particularly comfortable. The room was spacious, high ceilings, great light, tasteful period furnishings and a fridge! We decided to stay 2 extra days and do day trips from there. "

"The property, rooms and surrounding gardens are just wonderful. Picturesque and very peaceful. The rooms are stunning. Only thing we missed was any guidance, signs etc to point to reception and breakfast area. It's a little search and find. Also there was no coffee or bar service as mentioned as all was closed, so I would recommend to enquire beforehand if you plan to use these facilities. Not a problem once you know as there are options a short drive away or just enjoy a picnic and a wine in...

"Ideal location in lucca. The host, Debora, was very welcoming and helpful. Nice, spacious room with bathroom. Tea, coffee and snack facilities provided. We had front room which did get some street noise but, otherwise, excellent."

"The location was close to the promenade and beach. A lovely park was directly across from the property. It is a perfect place to walk to the train station, beach, restaurants and shops. It was a quiet location as well. The owners are lovely and very accommodating. The train made seeing Lucca and Cinque Terre a dream come true for me. I highly recommend this place. "
