"We visited Sandos Finisterra with a group of nine. We appreciated that the resort immediately recognized our Expedia Gold Status and upgraded our room. Check in was quick and friendly. Overall we found all the staff friendly. There were lots of pool and oceanfront chairs available when we were there. The food was pretty good most of the time but we were disappointed in the lack of variety/options, and in particular no dedicated Mexican restaurant. The group really loved the Cupcake Cafe especially. The sushi by the pool was excellent too! The bed and our room especially was comfortable. The oceanview over the pool was stunning! Maid service was great. The area where the resort was situated was excellent for walking. The grounds were really well looked after and very esthetically pleasing. People were monitored coming in and out, so felt security was excellent. We had a mess up with our return flight home be cancelled and the resort allowed us to store our luggage and stay at the resort until 5pm while we sorted out where we'd spend the extra night. The hotel WestJet put us up at was horrible and the neighbourhood seemed unsafe. So, it made me appreciate this resort even more! We'd definitely return. Highly recommend for good value!"
