"Welcoming friendly team, plans had changed and received a free upgrade which was great. Spacious clean room with good facilities. Well equipped gym and nice size pool are available to use. Hotel was very good service abs facilities. Regretted eating in the restaurant for dinner. Restaurant managers customer service questionable and main meal was not at the quality we would have expected for 2 AA rosette restaurant, hot breakfast also basic. "

"The property was tastefully furnished which reflected its historical past. There was a spacious sitting room for use by guests and a kitchen equipped for the heating and simple cooking of meals. "Stayed one night. Clean and comfortable. Landlord and manager very attentive and welcoming. Excellent traditional english breakfast. The pub itself is a proper drinkers pub so expect lively clientele in the bar. Would stay again."
