"The room was very cosy for our couples weekend get away! We got a bit cold but we were kindly given a portable radiator and soon we were very toasty. It was also interesting learning the history of the place as this is my third time staying at the Ostrich - but it made it all the more fun! It was also nice to see the exterior Christmas lights still up. I’ve always regarded this inn my happy place - thank you!"

"Overnighter before the football. Shocking weather but warm welcome. We did not eat there other than for breakfast. That was good. Big plateful. If you don’t eat there, a ten minute walk down the hill takes you to lots of restaurants. "

"We had a wonderful 10 day stay at the Princess Victoria. The staff from minute one to the end were nothing short of attentive and hospitable. The meals were excellent in the pub and the deals were something to take advantage of. As this was our “base” in London, the easy walk (or even bus ride) to shepherd’s bush and then literally anywhere provided us with what we needed. While we were here for our daughter’s wedding, we did get in some local football, niche restaurants, and intriguing museums....
