"At Sweet Songs you will enjoy a lovely setting, tranquility, and outstanding service. Having the botanical garden next door is a bonus. Xunantunich and other attractions are not far away. The only concern is the rough road to reach the jungle lodge, but that is certainly not a reason to pass on this wonderful resort."

"The amenities the room the bedding were top-tier. One of most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. I love the fireplace. Everything about the room was posh. The staff, especially Seville (sp?) were phenomenal. I’m only giving it four stars because we were in Belize for over two weeks and it seemed that almost all of our bug bites came during our three day stay here."

"The staff are very friendly though the service is variable and often slow. The furniture in the rooms needs updating. Inconsistent pricing with the wines. Different price in the bar to the restaurant. 30 dollor difference. "This is a nice, out of the way property. The casitas have thatched roofs and screened windows (no glass). There’s wonderful plants and trees and this is an excellent birding spot. Breakfast is included and they’ll provide lunch and dinner upon request. They can recommend some wonderful attractions. Oh, and the food is excellent. My only complaint is that they burn wood debris on a neighboring property. The smoke was very annoying. Otherwise, I highly recommend the Creekside Oasis. "

"Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. "All of the staff, be they front desk receptionist, servers, hired guides, grounds keepers, stable hands or gardeners could not be more accommodating, welcoming, friendly, proactive, or efficient. "This was my second time staying at The Palms, and it remains my favorite hotel ever. If you're traveling to Belize City, I highly recommend staying here! The area is safe and quiet, with plenty of delicious food and fresh juice vendors nearby. BakeD is just around the corner—do yourself a favor and try the meat pies and cookies! The rooms are beautiful and spotless. Both the Wi-Fi and AC worked perfectly. The in-room coffee maker came with great Nespresso pods, and we were welcomed with a freshly baked coconut bread on arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. There was also a well-stocked mini fridge with a variety of drinks available for a fee. We opted to grab our own from a small convenience store just down the street, but it was great to have that option if you didn’t feel like going out. The entire property is extremely clean, and the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. We also chatted with several locals in the area—everyone was so warm and welcoming. The hotel’s transportation services were super convenient and made getting around easy. Overall, I can’t recommend The Palms enough. 10/10!"
