"Our first stay in this Hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff from the start, check in was a breeze. Security lock to the rooms so only guests have access as the bar and restaurant is open to the public. Room was great, had a balcony overlooking the main high street was a nice surprise. We had an evening meal there, good choice on the menu, again service was excellent. Following morning we had a breakfast, great selection, choice of cooked items as well as the cereal selections."

"A family run property. The staff here are welcoming & helpful & seem to enjoy working here. Dining here has always been good, we rarely have the opportunity, so sneak in a dessert from the unusual selection. Cooked Breakfast for those requiring gluten free is very clearly identified. All costs are clear upfront. This hotel has that rare luxury openable windows & the rooms are comfortable & well equipped."

"The bath tub was amazing, I took the longest bath ever. Bed was comfortable and they had water/tea/coffee and a kettle. Room was larger then I expected. There were real plants in the bathroom and they put little touches around the room to make it unique. I enjoyed my stay. It can be a bit noisy till 1 am from people down on the street however that is not the hotels fault. Our included breakfast was fantastic. I got the yogurt with granola and fruit with morning tea., my MIL got the bacon...

"The staff at the pub were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. The room was as advertised, spacious with a comfy bed, Freeview TV, and ensuite which was a little snug but perfectly usable. The room got a little cold and I couldn't find a way to fully close the bathroom window but that didn't matter too much once I was under the duvet. I was warned that I was staying above a pub on a weekend even so, the noise never got too loud or disruptive, if anything it made my solo stay feel a little...

"The hotel and the grounds were full of character. The bathroom was incredible. However, the issue was the noise. Needs some serious sound proofing. The room was above reception and was incredibly noisy. Also, the room lacked services considering the price per night. Limited drinks available, and had to ask for bathrobes. "

"It was one night stay on a trip to Bath, nice little place with amazing, unusual look, just basic but enough for one night. There is pub and restaurant, not available for breakfasts. We didn't eat, but had a little cider in the pub which looks fantastic! Even with the pub in the building next to the rooms, it was very quite place, so don't stress about the noises. "The apartment is in a very good location, everything is central. Easy access to the apartment and it has all the essentials you’d need. However, there was no air con in the room which we felt we needed as the weather outside was really warm. Other than that, it was perfect! "
