"Room was very clean and spacious with the biggest cosiest bed. Nice variety of drinks in the room. Bathroom facilities very good. We used the hotels restaurant and the food was outstanding. Lovely cosy fireside seating to relax into. We will definitely return. "

"Quasi automated book in… Trying to get from the main road by car to the actual hotel requires driving through an industrial park. No apparent signage. In the dark not much fun. You can clearly see the hotel it’s just not that easy to drive up to it if you have never been before.. The rooms were good and practical. There was a bar and pool tables so all very ‘hip’. "I always like staying at Aztec. I’m not keen on the area round the hotel but have no need to go exploring. The hotel is comfortable and generally very clean. My kids love the pool and the food is good. "

"Nice family pub. It can be a bit noisy during pub open hours but my family were very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. The bar below sells nice selection of beers and the play area kept our daughter busy so we could relax."

"An absolute pleasure to drive up to such an impressive, wonderful property steeped in History! Nick was absolutely lovely and super-helpful. Also great to have an apartment to myself with all amenities. Will definitely stay again and be Lady of the Manor for a night! The Orangery is stunning. "Excellent property, spacious and located in a great area to walk to so much. Only issue was no AC, which was expected, but not enough fans. The property could use ceiling fans or more portable fans as it was very warm during the day and bery warm on a few evenings. "

"We found this space easy and convenient for our stay in Bedminster. Our room, on the ground floor shared space, was comfortable; felt quiet, private and secure. Alongside a small fridge, Coal Shed provide a range of tea and coffee options in the room with crockery and cutlery to hand. "A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "

"Booked this last minute for our wedding anniversary, I added a message on booking to say as such. When checking in we got a free room upgrade and a two complimentary drinks. Room and bed were large, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. Had robes and slippers(needed as bathroom tiles were cold!) "

Good for last minute stay

"Arranged same day to travel down from Manchester to visit our new grandchild in Bristol. Booked the cheapest available room, but it had some problems - very cold (though we did eventually work out how to get the heating on), TV not working, lots of road noise. Mentioned this to a very helpful lady on reception and she gave us a free upgrade to a bigger, warmer, quieter room."
