"This was our first time in Costa Rica and Ecotica delivered to our expectations. The social bar connected to the hotel (YOLO social) had amazing food and drinks. The property of ecotica is beautiful and makes you feel like you are walking through the rain forest. The rooms were clean and had a fresh modern look. Every staff member we encountered was so kind and helpful. I would stay here again when I visit Costa Rica and recommend any of my friends to stay here if they come to MA"

"We had an amazing time at the Igloo Beach Hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and everybody was very helpful, especially Emily. The food in the restaurant is delicious. There is a beautiful pool right in the center of the hotel. It is surrounded by the jungle and we saw beautiful birds and monkeys throughout the day. The property and rooms are kept clean and tidy. It’s only about a five minute walk to a local beach. It is about a 15 minute walk to the town of Manuel Antonio, where you can shop and visit restaurants. There is a bus station, literally right in front of it so you can travel further easily if you’d like. They made going out on excursions very easy and helped facilitate all of our tours and transportation. We would absolutely recommend this hotel. 10/10"

"Hotel is along the main street. While it isn’t flashy from the street view, once inside it feels like a magical jungle paradise and feels safe and secluded. There are plenty of walkable dining/shopping options. If you prefer to avoid driving from the resort to Manuel Antonio park, we were able to walk there in about 35min and avoid the hassle of driving/parking, which is a great perk! Hotel breakfast was included and had a variety of good options. We would definitely stay again!"

"We stayed at the Shana for a week over spring break. Everything about it was wonderful. The staff, the beach, the pool, the breakfast. we saw more wildlife on the hotel proper than we did in Manuel Antonio National Park. The monkeys were daily entertainment. There is a sloth that hangs out in a tree by the adult pool and a set of scarlet macaws that will fly in every day. I can’t recommend this hotel enough."

"I don't write a lot of reviews, but this house and experience deserve a standng ovation though. The house is better than the photos. The location is perfect for a beautiful beach, jungle vacation. The access to restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, yoga studio was perfect. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Beds were very comfortable and large. The house and pool area was very private and an amazing vantage point for wildlife. We sat in the pool and watched a sloth in a tree and monkey's swing in the trees and the yard. You do have to be able to go up stairs and walk uphill to get to the beaches and the businesses, but that was a good counterbalance to the food and drink we consumed. Ismael was a wonderful host. All his recommendations were spot on. We ended up hanging at the house and walking to the close beach for most of the vacation. We had planned on driving to different locations, but it was so beautiful and peaceful there, we just stayed. The park was great, but we saw more wildlife from our back yard. We will be back and have great memories. To relax, decompress and rejuvenate, it's perfect."

"The family pool sold me on choosing this resort and it did not disappoint! My 6 and 4 year olds had a blast with the pools and slide. As did my husband and I! Poolside restaurant had great food and the staff here and at front desk were SO friendly and accommodating. "
