"This is a unique resort that is owner operated. You should be animal friendly because dogs and and a raccoon call this resort home and visit the restaurant frequently. My kids loved it. The rooms are well maintained and have a very nice decor. Two walls are glass (with curtains), so if you open the curtains it’s like full jungle immersion. "Although the property is quite dated and needs a bit of refurbishing it is still a nice place to stay with large rooms, comfortable bed and hot showers. The breakfast options are good and filling with various well priced dinners available. The hotel is located on quite a steep hill if walking but there is a local bus service every 20 minutes. Overall the place is good value and worth staying if you want somewhere cheaper than central Manuel Antonio, which is just down the road anyway."
