"Pleasant stay for the most part. Everything was reasonably cleaned and as it should be. Kitchen had all the bare necessities , for our needs. Only hiccup was the water heater has an issue, during our stay. It was taken care of, in less than a day. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, at a future date. "

"Our family loved staying here the week after Christmas. The area was beautiful and the home was comfy and clean. The galley kitchen is a little tight, but since we were basically warming food up, it worked for us. Be aware that the only entrance to the guesthouse is up a flight of outside stairs (no surprise--you can see it in the pictures) but it can be tricky in case of bad weather. It wasn't a big deal since there was plenty of room in the main house for our elderly parents. We enjoyed it!"

"Great property. Very walkable to all restaurants and shops. Stayed in the Tarheel Suite. Its was clean and nicely decorated. Only complaint is below us woke us up in the morning with slamming doors and talking loud. Not sure if its a common area or maybe cleaning. Other than that its a nice place to stay and we will be back with our pup. "

"Absolutely gorgeous. The pictures are nice but definitely don't do it justice as to how pretty it is in person. Right in the heart of beautiful downtown Blowing Rock surrounded by shopping and dining of every variety. Especially right in the middle of winter it was stunningly beautiful."
