"For the most part, the unit was very nice.The deck that is right above the entry door, drips water right on the slight ramp to the entry. It freezes and is a hazard. The gas fire place was very difficult to light. Even the maintenance man had a hard time with it. I finally got it lit . The thermostat for the furnace was not functioning properly. It has a beautiful jacuzzi tub how ever the valve did not function properly. Once I fiddled with it I got it to work however the hot water source...

"Purple Haze was one of our favorite VRBO properties ever!! The location was perfect for many nearby activities including Blowing Rock and Tweetsie Railroad. Linda was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The house is beautiful and very well stocked. The layout is perfect for large family groups. We would definitely stay again! "
